Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10 am–8:45 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (859) 907-9551. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, maifresh.com.

Kettering is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Kettering follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Outrageous and honestly unsafe. This store is selling packaged food with no production date at all—not missing, not faded, just completely absent. That’s not a minor mistake, that’s a blatant violation of basic food safety standards. When I questioned it, the cashier didn’t just ignore the issue—they were openly rude and dismissive, saying “If there’s no date, the manufacturer didn’t print one.” That’s not an explanation, that’s an excuse. And a lazy one at that. So what exactly are customers supposed to do? Play roulette with expired food? Buy a random braised egg and hope it hasn’t been sitting there for months—or years? Between selling non-compliant products and having staff who couldn’t care less, this place shows zero regard for customer safety. This isn’t just bad service—it’s reckless. I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away.

This is my "go to" spot - it's rare if I'm not there at least twice per month. It may not be the biggest or have the most exotic offering, but it does have everything I could ask for and what I think to be there best selection of fresh noodles in Dayton. Their produce also, good quality and reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

Most of the products have no prices or shelf tags marked and the ones that do are incorrect and above the marked price on the shelf tag, similar stores do a much better job accurately marking the prices and have lower prices and a better selection

I was surprised to find a Chinese market that’s so very well stocked here in Dayton. From live seafood, frozen seafood, meats of all sorts and cuts, fresh vegetables, Chinese herbs, tea, and large selections of Asian snacks. They have way more things than the Far East Mart. The interior layout of things looks a bit messy due to the amount of goods in stock. The cashier was friendly, and convenient parkings out front. Highly recommend by @winedinenvacay

The Asian market is amazing . The cultural differences are very apparent. They have a large section and do as best as they can to translate the products for you . They are amazingly friendly and do try their best to translate. Though sometimes it's hard due to language barriers. So be sure to be friendly and understand they are doing you a service by offering a large variety of asian foods , meats and other products. I would highly recommend checking it out and experiencing culture in the most real way possible ... it's truly an amazing place and a must-see! Totally recommend.
